WorkHorseU Pillars of Career Transition Support

Sep 14, 2022

The moment an employee is told their services are no longer required, their mind immediately turns to the problem of replacing their income. For most people, having to navigate today’s fast moving job market by themselves is a lonely and frustrating prospect.

To that end, the goal of the WorkHorseU program is to provide meaningful, practical and personalized assistance to keep one’s time between jobs to the minimum.

WorkHorseU's Full-Service Outplacement Programs can be defined by three pillars of support, ensuring a holistic approach to career transition:

Pillar #1: Personal Coaching.

Personalized coaching helps our job seekers to find their innate resiliency when faced with adversity; we help them through the process of accepting change, and work with them to create a sense of empowerment, confidence and optimism for the future.  Ensuring a positive mindset is fundamental to a successful career transition.  Access to WorkHorseU Program Coaches is available. Coaches customize the practical job search components mentioned below, to individual need.

Pillar #2. Practical Job Search Tools.

Without the proper tools, strategies and resources, ones job search can stall quickly. Supported by their Program Coach, WorkHorse job seekers work through practical exercises to develop clear personal and career goals, effective résumés and covering letters, strong interviewing and emotional intelligence skills plus practical résumé marketing tools (including the provision of customized lists of potential employers).  The goal is to create the biggest pool of potential job opportunities as possible.

Ultimately, at WorkHorseU we are in the helping business and every member of our team feels personally responsible for the candidates in our program.

We are all fully aware that our candidates’ success is also our success and reputation, and we work vehemently to protect both!
